Paradise Bay Chalet sits high above the water with a breathtaking 180 degree view of the Hood Canal. It is situated on the side of a hill, almost out of site of the road and away from the local traffic. About 25 more steps down from the house, you will reach our private beach, and yes, it is a sandy beach and you have full access!! (There is even a public boat launch just a short distance away.) The view is fantastic from the deck of the house and also from the inside. There are tables, chairs, and a BBQ on the deck for your outside dining while enjoying the view. So relax your afternoon on the deck and soak up the sun, or go down the private steps to walk along the beach...maybe you will find something interesting the tide brought in?

Inside the chalet there is a large living room with two sofas and a comfortable chair as well as a family dinning area with a fireplace; the kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances like fridge, dishwasher, stove/oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and etc, we even provide cookware and dishes. The master bedroom is downstairs with a queen size bed and a large closet and upstairs there are 3 twin beds and an open area for kids to play. Towels are provided and beds are made when you arrive. There is also a laundry room which is next to the house. Household items like laundry detergent, paper towels, soap, etc are there for you to use.

The Paradise Bay Chalet is a great place for a family vacation or a romantic getaway! The house has been newly remodeled including significant changes like new floors and furniture (new mattress, couches, rug, etc, new appliances in the kitchen, rebuilding the deck, repainting the walls, hooking up Comcast Cable TV/high-speed internet, etc.)

Wondering about where it's located? Well, it's in a town called Port Ludlow, only 2 miles away from the famous Hood Canal Bridge and only 25 min drive from the historic town Port Townsend. It's also on the NE corner of the Olympic Peninsula, only an hour drive will get you to the Olympic National Park. From there you can easily visit the mountains, rain forest, wildlife, lakes, and waterfalls, all within an easy travel distance for day trips. Just a mile from our beach, there is a large crabbing site where everyone goes to catch oysters, clams, and crabs. Many hiking trails as well as driving destinations are nearby. There are many things you can do when you visit the Olympic Peninsula, and we're sure you won't become bored.
